Jenny and Jack, two donkeys celebrating their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary, get into a fight when Jack sleeps through the special day. They each decide to search for a new partner, but no animal seems up to the task. Finally they come upon a caravan of camels—could one of them be the new special someone? Ultimately, Jenny and Jack learn that they are each other’s perfect match. The expressive illustrations convey the silliness of the donkeys’ quest using rich colors and strong lines. 2003 White Ravens. kta
